Catalina Plaino

HMONP Architect registered with the Order of Architects of Île-de-France
Graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-La Villette.
She has worked for some of the biggest names in French architecture, including :
- Ateliers Jean Nouvel, in charge of the superstructure of the Hekla Tower
- Christian and Elizabeth de Portzamparc, on the projects of the Sisters Towers and the Saint-Germain city block
- Reichen and Robert, on the Altais Tower
Based on these experiences, she opens the Catalina Plaino Architecture agency in 2021 to express her art on her own.
The agency has a contextual architectural approach that combines the aesthetic with the functional and believes that the best projects come out of a close dialogue with the users who allow it to better understand their needs.
This approach favours the play with light and the use of raw and noble materials.
